The opportunity to join NALC National Networks, who meet 4 times a year online and include; Climate Emergency Network (CEN), Coastal Communities, LGBT+, Young Councillors, Micro Councils, Super Councils and Women’s Councillors. Some of these groups have WhatsApp chats, connecting you to people all over the country

Regular training is free for all councillors and staff of member councils

We find that our members benefit greatly from having the opportunity to meet up regularly and speak about issues affecting our respective communities. By having these opportunities, IWALC is able to serve it’s community better, also with connections to the National Association of Local Councils.
